What To Expect On Your Tour Of Wildlife Images

Our tours are about an hour to an hour and a half walk throughout our facility. On the tour through the compound you will see a wide variety of animals including bears, mountain lions, wolves, bobcats, fox, and even a badger! You will also visit our Eagle Flight Facility, where you will get up close and personal with several resident bald eagles and vultures. In our Birds of Prey building you’ll see eagles, hawks, owls, and more.

You will enjoy the tour more fully if you wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Tours take place regardless of the weather, so remember to dress warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Because this is Oregon after all, keeping your rain gear handy is a good idea, too. (Umbrellas are allowed on the tour.) And most importantly, don’t forget your camera!

So that everyone can enjoy our tours, we also have a custom-made tour cart available for the elderly and those who may have physical challenges. There is a fee for the tour cart. It must be reserved in advance and is subject to availability.

You are permitted to bring bottled water on the tour, however, no other food or drink is permitted while on the tour. We keep a selection of snacks for sale at our gift shop, however, Wildlife Images does not have a regular dining facility on the premises. Pre- or post-tour, we have an open-air collection of outdoor picnic tables that you are welcome to enjoy your food or beverages, with a fantastic view of our wildlife living at Beatrice Pond. Wildlife Images is a smoke-free environment; there is no smoking allowed on the tour. Also, for the safety of our wildlife resident guests, no pets are allowed at the facility or on the tour. For those individuals visiting with certified service animals, please call our facility for a special accommodations request. Although we cannot permit your service animal beyond our gates, we are happy to accommodate you to the best of our abilities.

Please call at least a day in advance for tour availability and to reserve your place on the tour. Tours tend to fill up quickly, particularly during the summer months, so be sure to book early. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not permit our visitors to walk around the facility without a tour guide.

After the tour you will have the opportunity to visit our gift shop and select from numerous unique gift items for memories of your visit. All proceeds from gift shop benefit the sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife treated at Wildlife Images.

Additionally, we can accommodate large bus groups, schools and organizations. Our office staff will provide you with schedules, directions and the necessary information.
