The Wolf Pack

Tundra_WolfWE’RE HOWLING OUT FOR TEENS 13-16 YEARS OLD TO JOIN THE WOLF PACK!

The Wolf Pack was designed to engage teens age 13-16 in learning about our natural world, through active exploration, hands-on projects and group initiatives. Our wolf pack adventures together Wednesdays this Summer from 9 am to 3 pm. We ask that campers bring their own sack lunch, water bottle, sturdy shoes, a personal journal, and a great attitude. We are outside for most of the day, rain or shine! Please dress appropriately. Join us for a wildly awesome time!

What Does a Wolf Pack Summer Look Like?

We meet for 10 weeks this summer to learn about wildlife conservation, rehabilitation, animal husbandry, and the great outdoors. Teens will learn the responsibility it takes to care for wildlife and the environment while getting close to our resident animal ambassadors and picking up some outdoor skills along the way.

2016 SUMMER ANIMAL PROJECT: Black Bear Husbandry

Our Wolf Pack will be in charge of black bear husbandry each Wednesday. We will clean their enclosure, provide them enrichment, and learn what it takes to care for black bears in captivity. Make sure you come ready to play, learn, and get dirty this summer!

Dates + Lessons

Each day this summer will have an animal focus. we will dedicate our lesson time to visit our resident ambassadors and learn all about their species, sometimes even interacting with them through husbandry or enrichment.
