Our Mission: Saving Wildlife

Cueball

Learn About Cueball

  • Classification: Reptile
  • Species: Ball Python (Python regius)
  • Lifespan in the Wild: 30 yrs
  • Length: 3-4 ft
  • Range in the Wild: Sudan and Uganda, across Central Africa, throughout West Africa to Senegal
  • Habitat in the Wild: Dry areas, grassland to open forests
    • Diet in the Wild: rodents, birds
    • Diet at Wildlife Images: feeder rats
    • Gender: Female

Cueball came to live at Wildlife Images because her previous owner could no longer provide her care. When we introduced her to Eightball, they immediately started to entwine and most of their days are spent cuddling. Her first November at our facility she laid 6 eggs! Suffice it to say, they were a good match. Cueball is bigger than Eightball, although much younger, and she has proven to be a great asset to our education team.
