Hamlet was brought to us after being kept as a pet for 6 years. Hamlet was originally found as a fledgling and upon examination, had a fracture that didn’t heal correctly in her right wing. Because she is imprinted on humans and cannot fly, she cannot be released back to the wild. She and Onyx became roommates and get along quite well, providing companionship and enrichment for each other. In May 2015, Hamlet and Onyx built a gorgeous nest in which she laid an egg, so she is a confirmed female!
