Scratch and Sniff were 8 weeks old when they arrived at our facility from a private breeder in Iowa. We were on the lookout for striped skunks to join our team of education ambassadors when we stumbled across these two in need of a home. Wild animals do not make good pets and while skunks are cute, cuddly, and prone to hilarious antics, spending time with our residents will show you that they are very high maintenance pets, and we don’t recommend it.

We Need Your Help

With over 80 animal ambassadors, and over 1,000 sick injured and orphaned animals brought to our center each year - every dollar counts. We rely solely on people like yourself to support the work we do.

We receive no State or Federal funding and depend entirely on private funds to carry out our Mission.
