Wildlife Images is happy to report progress toward its goal of 4,000 memberships. The campaign has passed 1,000 memberships! The non-profit still has a long way to go toward reaching the financial stability membership provides. To further increase sales, Wildlife Images has launched a new membership program and a new incentive both centered on gift membership.
During the holiday season, Wildlife Images encourages community members to Put Something WILD Under the Tree by giving the gift of membership. A membership to Wildlife Images allows grandchildren, family members and friends to enjoy 12 months of wild experiences. Through December 31st, each gift membership will come with a limited edition membership card holder and a special gift. During the week of December 17, Wildlife Images will be at the Bear Hotel for Winterfest. Each day, from 11:00 – 3:00, community members can visit the non-profit’s booth to purchase their own membership or a gift membership.
Another to give the gift of membership is through a new program called Group Gift Membership. This program offers business and organizations a discount on the purchase of multiple memberships. Those memberships are delivered to employees, or an organization’s members, and include all the benefits of an individual membership level. It also includes additional benefits for the business or organization. From two to two hundred employees, group gift membership is an excellent way to reward staff members and support Wildlife Images.
As a non-profit, Wildlife Images must continually seek out ways to raise money. Membership is an important part of that puzzle. When the If Not You, WHOO? campaign started the organization had roughly 400 members. The membership program includes, free admission, member-only events, invitations to animal releases and other opportunities for a full 12 months. The rewards of membership also include discounts on educational programing like Camp EEK, as well as discounts on signature events such as Saving Wildlife and Toast to the Wild. Memberships are more important than ever as Wildlife Images faces a $300,000 budget shortfall following five years of natural disasters including damaging snowfall and impacts from local wildfires. Memberships start at just $30.00 and are available for individuals, families, businesses, and organizations. Memberships are available online, over the phone, and in person at Wildlife Images.
