Volunteers are the heart of the work we do at Wildlife Images!
These dedicated individuals work tirelessly to help us provide exceptional animal care to our resident animals and engaging educational opportunities to our guests, and help us maintain our beautiful facility. We offer our sincere gratitude and admiration for our volunteers here at the center. These remarkable people with generous and dedicated hearts share their time, hard work, and expertise in so many aspects to make this center great. Not only are they tremendous animal advocates, they are full of great ideas and continue to share their thoughts with one another and the Wildlife Images staff, contributing in any way possible to ensure that our native wildlife and fellow humans will have a safe place to come together to learn and understand the importance of taking care of the gifts we have been given.

Volunteer areas
Education
Park Guides — Love chatting with people, sharing stories and educating people about the amazing creatures that call Wildlife Images home? This position may be the one for you! Park Guides are stationed at specific locations around campus where they work with ambassadors, biofacts, and other hands-on items and present information to the public. These volunteers also help at our Outreach Programs and Events.
Camp Volunteers - If you like working with children, come help us educate our future leaders and wildlife advocates at our Spring, Summer & Winter children’s camps!
Animal Care - (Limited Positions)
Assist staff caring for permanent resident animals. This can include diet prep, laundry, washing dishes, cleaning, helping create enrichment and special projects.
Production
Like to help out behind the scenes? Come assist in the daily care of our rat/mouse colony and help sort produce and meat from store donations.
Maintenance & Construction
Help us maintain our facilities, construct new structures and animal enclosures and work on special construction and maintenance projects around our campus. We are always looking for skilled helpers!
Landscaping
Love to garden? We have a beautiful 26-acre campus that needs many helping hands and we are working on starting our own on-site vegetable garden to grow greens for some of our resident animals. If you have a green thumb or just love to be outdoors we would love to have your help!
Other Volunteer Opportunities
We have had skilled volunteers help with marketing, photography, special events, and fundraising. If there is something that you would like to offer to Wildlife Images that is currently not a “typical” volunteer opportunity, let us know!
