Of the dozens of volunteers at Wildlife Images each one has a special relationship with an Animal Ambassador, or two or three ;). The work Wildlife Images does would simply not be possible without our volunteers. They make diets, clean out enclosures, create enrichment, educate visitors, take photos, work events, pull weeds, greet guests, and most importantly, love the animals who call Wildlife Images home.
It takes a remarkable heart and dedicated spirit to give so much time, talent and care. We are beyond grateful for the volunteers who have given years of service to Wildlife Images and hundreds of Animal Ambassadors. We are constantly astounded by new volunteers who jump in whole-heartedly and are eager to learn.
Our volunteers give of their time and energy freely without any expectation. They are passionate about Saving Wildlife and it shows with their dedication to all the jobs they do. From assisting with animal care, educating the public, or maintaining our facilities, volunteers are a driving force behind the day to day operations. They make life better for animals! – Cory Alvis-Allen
Our volunteers are amazingly dedicated and supportive. As we continue to grow and develop as a facility it’s really great seeing the eagerness to learn new things and implement new ideas! Together we can all truly make a difference one day at a time! – Kim Bell
Some volunteers help train resident animals. Training is very important to built a good relationship with them, keep them stimulated, and it allow them to cooperate with their health check. One of volunteers trained a chinchilla to preform a few basic commands. He wouldn’t do it if he doesn’t trust the trainer. – Koko Aketa
“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” –Anatole France
THANK YOU to all our past and present volunteers!
