Wildlife Images is now offering Wild Weekend Encounters!
Each Saturday and Sunday join our Animal Care team for your choice of Wild Weekend Encounters:
Saturday – 10:30, 11:30, & 12:30
- River Otter Rendezvous – Hide treats or provide toys to Nestle the river otter who is the arguably the smartest and most entertaining resident Animal Ambassador! Learn why enrichment is so vital to the quality of life of animals like Nestle.
- Raptor Encounter – Join one of the resident birds of prey for a stroll as Animal Care Technicians share that Ambassadors story, quirks, and insight into the threats to their wild counterparts. Photo opportunities included!
Sunday – 10:30, 11:30, & 12:30
- Cougar Catering – Get the closest you’ll ever want to get to a cougar! Alongside of one of Brady’s caretakers you’ll provide a meal, special treats/toys, or get a front row seat as staff shape behaviors for training with this sweet boy!
- Ambassador Experience – Many of our over 100 resident Animal Ambassadors LOVE to make new friends! From the tiny and fascinating Puddin’ the flying squirrel and Kimmie the skunk to Nubs who is the most personable badger in the world and Argo the patriarch of our wolf pack, you’ll get an unforgettable and often hands-on experience with an Animal Ambassador. Photo opportunities included!
Wild Weekend Encounters are available as an add-on with a tour or as a stand alone experience! While we do require reservations for tours, a Wild Weekend Encounter can be purchased at our Guest Services desk when checking in for a tour or just prior to the scheduled encounter.
$15.00/per person – Wild Weekend Encounter without tour
$10.00/per person – Wild Weekend Encounter with purchase of tour or Wildlife Images Membership
Keep in mind, at Wildlife Images the animals always come first. We will do whatever we can to make sure your Wild Weekend Encounter is a wonderful and memorable experience. However, we do prioritize the animals comfort and safety as well as the safety of our guests and staff. Because of this, specific opportunities and animal selection are at the discretion of Animal Care. Wild Weekend Encounters are considered public. We do offer private opportunities by reservation.
